Our services - Post child abduction
Once an abduction has occurred, we work with families to negotiate the safe return of the child to the proper legal jurisdiction for determination of custody and child support by the courts. We work steadfastly to meet the Hague Convention guidelines of six weeks for return of a child, as the damage to both child and parent, and their relationship is extensive if this is prolonged.
We partner with government and other agencies to ensure a smooth flow of information to bring a speedy resolve.
Article 7 (c) of the Hague Convention requires the Central Authority of signatory countries “to secure the voluntary return of the child or to bring about an amicable resolution of the issues” either directly or via an intermediary.
